Officers Code of Conduct

I.

I will always conduct myself in a manner which brings credit to
Starfleet, the UFA, my fleet, my unit, my ship, my base, and myself.

I will show courtesy to my subordinates, fellow officers, and
superior officers at all times battle or social situation not withstanding.

   a. I will not direct derogatory or foul language toward another officer in anger.
   b. I will not press unwanted social interaction upon those who do not wish it and
will respect the personal privacy of fellow officers and civilians.

IV.
I will strive for impartiality and fairness in judgment, and disqualify
myself from decisions where my judgment may be compromised.

V.
I will listen to both sides of a dispute and
act upon fact, not innuendo or rumor.

VI.
I will not assume, but always verify whenever
possible orders, incidents, and situations

VII.
I will restrict public critisms of personal behavior to formal teaching,
officer reviews, and group review following missions. Disciplinary
instructive critism need be taken in private and will be conducted
with respect for species and person.

VIII.

I will strive to be part of the solution,
not the begining of a problem.

IX.
I will be the first to praise, and the last to criticize.

X.
I will remember that this is the Star Trek universe and act accordingly,
knowing that I have chosen to be here and knowing that not to act in
accordence with its ethics and behavioral mores, wll result in expulsion
back to the 21st century regardless of planet of origin.
